Job Title: Air Duct Technician

Work Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm, some overtime

Pay Scale: $13-$16/DOE

Reports to: Service Manager

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of mechanical experience of trade school equivalent
• A valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record
• Background screening will be done prior to employment
• Must be dependable and honest, as fiduciary responsibility for customer payments is required
• Experience with air ducts and/or HVAC a plus, but not a requirement
• Must be reliable and customer oriented
• Requires some physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions
• General field service experience
• Must be able to interact with customers and co-workers on a professional level
• Work safely from a ladder
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn on-the-job

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform duct cleaning at residential locations
• Knowledgeable about duct cleaning and can articulate and understand the air duct cleaning process
• Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
• Build lasting relationships with our customers
• Responds to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Tracks and keeps manager informed of client's changing needs and requests
• Develops and maintains a high level of credibility with the customer by consistently displaying a high level of competence, character and integrity
• Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly
• Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
• Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
• Report to dispatcher when arriving and leaving jobsite
• Communicate with customers and collect C.O.D. on maintenance visits as directed
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Complete all service related forms properly
• Inform customer of replacement options following company guidelines

Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of this position. These include the following:

• Achieving average monthly revenue goal of $16,500.
• Customer compliments or complaints
• Legible and complete paperwork
• Callback ratio equal to or less than 4%
• Standard employee review form
